They may have made a perfect (if slightly dysfunctional) couple in A Star Is Born, but Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper ‘deserve love’, according to their co-star, Shangela.

Shangela, who first found fame on RuPaul’s Drag Race before being cast in A Star Is Born, witnessed some serious chemistry between the two lead actors.

There were rumours that part of the reason Bradley and his model girlfriend Irina Shayk parted ways was due to how close he had become to Gaga while making the emotionally-charged film.

Shangela told Entertainment Tonight: ‘Look, A Star Is Born at the root is a passionate love story and these two people deserve love.

‘So, wherever they find it, I’m like, “Hallelujah, ya’ll better get it!”’

Although they have always denied that anything romantic is going on between them in real life, Shangela seems pretty hopeful for the pair, saying: ‘Look, I just wanna catch the bouquet!’

Erm, should we be looking at hats right now?

Shangela also praised Bradley and Gaga for their passion and dedication to their roles, explaining: ‘The both of them are really great actors, so when you see them on screen, they have this kinetic energy where you’re just like “I live for them. I live for their love”.

‘But they’re professionals and they just, of course, made everyone else feel like, “If they’re gonna give a hundred, I’m gonna do the same thing”.’

As well as rumours of a romance, fans have also been speculating that Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper may make a surprise appearance together at Glastonbury Festival this weekend.

The rumours came about when DJ Edith Bowman revealed that Bradley had been in talks with Emily Eavis, organiser of Glasto.

When asked whether there would be any surprise performances at the festival, she revealed: ‘Well…I may know one, I can’t possibly say… On my podcast, I had Bradley Cooper, talking about A Star Is Born.

‘And when I spoke to him, I was like, “I just wanna see you guys do a gig, play it live”. And he was like, “Jackson’s dead!” He said, “Well, we have been talking to Nick [Dewey, Glastonbury booker] and Emily [Eavis, co-organizer] about it — we’d do The Park Stage.”’

Bradley also said that if he were to do the festival, they would perform about six songs… which DOES line up with an empty 40-minute slot for The Park Stage.

Sadly, it’s definitely not happening as Emily Eavis tweeted: ‘Before this one gets out of control… the answer is no, that isn’t happening.’
