A Question of Sport Live is coming to Glasgow and tickets are on sale today



BBC’s A Question of Sport – the world’s longest running TV sports quiz – will celebrate its 50th anniversary with an all-new live tour, which is set to visit Glasgow in 2020.

The live shows will star host Sue Barker and resident team captains Matt Dawson and Phil Tufnell, along with big-name guests from across the sporting world.

The live version will follow the small-screen format featuring many of the rounds and challenges fans of the hit show know and love.

It’s also truly interactive as audience members will be able to participate by directly posing questions to the teams and getting involved in some rounds before the traditional Sprint Finish climax.

 

The show will visit 10 cities across the UK in April and May 2020, opening at the SEC Armadillo in Glasgow on April 17, 2020.

Sue, 63, who is the show’s third presenter having taken over the role in 1997, said: “I can’t think of a better way to celebrate this golden anniversary than to take the show around the country.”

After the Glasgow show , Sue and the team will head down south to cities including Newcastle,Liverpool, Birmingham, Manchester and London.

Presale tickets go on sale at 10am on Wednesday, November 13 and on general sale at 10am on Friday, November 15 via Ticketmaster .
