Jasmine Harman took to her Instagram page to share a picture of her holding her belly after a fan asked her if she was expecting. The A Place In The Sun presenter said that while the comment could be deemed offensive, she decided it was now time to get back into her dream shape.
The 45-year-old is currently following a weight loss guide to help her become the “healthiest and happiest version” of herself.
Like many, Jasmine said she put on the pounds during lockdown and had trouble shifting weight.
Last week, the mother-of-two said she was asked if she was expecting another baby.
“My first reaction was to be insulted and upset,” she spilled.
“I’m not pregnant; I’ve put on weight. TBH I’ve spent my adult life putting on weight and losing it again. It’s boring after a while.”
Jasmine added: “The last time I lost weight, I thought I’d cracked it for good, but alas, it all went awry during lockdown.”
The presenter went on to say that she found it difficult to accept her body, but applauded those who did.
“We should all be able to love our bodies no matter their shape or size,” she continued.
“I admit, I find this very difficult and I’m not there yet. I applaud those people who love and accept themselves as they are.”
