A Place In The Sun presenter Laura Hamilton 'gutted' at family separation 'I was so sad'

Laura Hamilton spoke candidly about her frustrations at being separated from her parents during Christmas and New Year, due to the lockdown restrictions imposed by the UK government amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Channel 4 presenter admitted feeling “gutted” as she also addressed her family loss.

The 38-year-old spent the festive holidays with her husband Alex Goward and the couple’s two children; seven-year-old Rocco and five-year-old Thalia.

Laura explained that it would have been the first Christmas she would have spent with her parents in over a decade.

It comes after the property expert previously opened up about the loss of her grandad, who sadly died while she was away with her husband and children in August.

Laura said: “It was quiet. Not much mess anywhere but was as good as anyone else’s really.

Laura explained: “Every morning I get up and try to do a 30-minute workout.
