90 Day Fiancé star Ashley Martson has sparked concern after posting a tearful picture and revealing she “still loves” her ex-husband.

She shared a selfie from her birthday party in New York back in May – when she had just filed for divorce for the second time.

Jay had turned up to that party “unannounced” – so Ashley was forced to be civil to him.

But she revealed that as soon as she left her party and got in her Uber to go home, she “lost it”.

“The tears came pouring out,” she captioned the Instagram image.

“It was the moment I knew… I knew I failed. I failed my marriage, myself, my children. My heart was broken into a million pieces.

“Everything I kept bottled in poured out of my eyes in the back of this Uber.”

“I never felt a hurt like this in my life. Ever.”

She reflected on a “tough year” – which saw her divorce finalised in November.

Despite the official end of her relationship, Ashley said she “loves” her ex.

“To this day I still hurt. I still love him. I just have come to terms with the fact it’s over and I’m gonna be okay.

“So all of you who are struggling please know these feelings are temporary and you will get back to yourself. Time truly does heal wounds.

“There is no more Ashley and Jay. I’m leaving this post with the final time I speak on us or our marriage.”

She insisted she didn’t want to blame Jay, but rather raise awareness about mental health.

“I just want men and women to both know it’s okay to not be okay. It’s okay to cry it out. It’s okay to not be strong all the time. It’s okay to fail.

“What’s not okay is to let it destroy you. You can, and you will, get back up and begin to pick up the pieces.”

Ashley said she feels “ready to start a new chapter and not look back”.

As fans of 90 Day Fiancé will remember, Ashley and Jay met while she was on vacation in Jamaica.

Despite their age gap and their different nationalities, they decided to try and make it work and pursue a K-1 visa for Jay.

Jay moved to the US for the 90-day window allotted to engaged couples.

Part of the visa stipulates that a couple must be married within this time-frame and if the couple decides not to pursue marriage, the foreign K-1 visa holder must leave the country and return home.

Ashley and Jay made the 90-day cutoff and were married on May 16 last year – but she never adjusted his status per K-1 rules.

Jay apparently admitted to being unfaithful only days after their quick wedding.

Despite numerous attempts to save their marriage, their divorce papers were officially signed in November.
