MANCHESTER UNITED are set to meet Leeds for the first time in eight years.
The War of the Roses derby will resume in pre-season as the two sides face off in Australia.
Meanwhile, Louis Van Gaal has said he will be supporting Manchester City in the Champions League.
The Dutchman commented: “People think Barcelona are the best but they are not.
“Manchester City and Liverpool are more of a team than Barcelona – and Liverpool are more of a team than City.
“In my philosophy, the best team shall win but I hope for City because they play the best football.”
And United legend Andy Cole has backed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for the permanent job.
He commented: “I would give him the job. I have been very impressed. I don’t think I am different from anyone else.
“He has gone in, he’s galvanised the club, they’ve got results at the right time.
“Fair enough, they have lost the last couple, but I just think he’s trying to get Man Utd playing the way Man Utd used to play – attractive football, scoring goals and being entertaining.
“His staff have had a lot to do it with as well. Bringing Mike Phelan back was essential.”
