I usually steer clear of liquid eyeshadows (I often find they sting my eyelids, or else crease easily) but was pleasantly surprised by Liquid Mono. Smooth to apply, easy to blend and, once dry, totally budge-proof. The shade (Copper Sparks) gave a rosy, shimmery wash of colour that works perfectly for day and night in equal measure.

This is an absolute dream to use – the lipgloss style packaging means you can swipe the shadow on with the doe-foot wand, pat it in with your fingertips and head straight to the party (which is obvs where I’d be going in this gold tinsel shade, though I’d wear it to the office too if I were feeling particularly jolly).

I love a shimmer eyeshadow look, and this creamy, highly-pigmented Dior eyeshadow is the dream. I used the shade Silver Flakes and the silver is slightly darker than you would usually find, but application is key here. I used the flat brush applicator directly onto the lid and then gradually patted in the formula. It’s a very buildable formula and the colour really complimented my skin tone.

I usually stick to basic eyeshadow looks, so sparkles across my whole eyelid seemed a bit much for me. Instead, I added a small amount to the inner corner of my eyes. I found the lilac tint of the Fireworks shade complemented the blue hue in my eyes.

The Dior eyeshadow has a great shimmer to it and is very easy to apply. I would recommend layering it once it sets to build up that coverage for long lasting wear. In the tube it has a pink hue to it but once applied, it comes out more of a silver colour. Fantastic eyeshadow that’s perfect for the party season.
