FREDDIE LJUNGBERG and Arsenal are in desperate need of a win as they prepare to face West Ham on Monday.

Defeat to Brighton on Thursday was their ninth Premier League match without a win in what was the Swede’s first game in charge at the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta is said to be among the candidates to become the next permanent manager at Arsenal, with the former midfielder reportedly keen on the job – along with former Bayern Munich boss Niko Kovac.

Meanwhile, Tottenham have joined the Arsenal and Manchester United in their bid to sign Merih Demiral from Juventus.
