You may have been introduced to him via his roles in hit movies Call Me By Your Name and Ladybird, but we’d hazard a guess that many of you aren’t solely interested in his professional performances.

Undoubtedly one of the biggest young names in Hollywood, Timothée Chalamet has proven in recent years that he’s also a fully-fledged fashion fan boy.

While he may have only admitted his obsession in 2018 during an interview with VMAN, fans of his knew about this penchant long before.

Refreshingly – unlike the majority of stars rising through the ranks armed with a supremely tight PR team and a style team who have his 10-year aesthetic plan all mapped out – Timothée famously shuns stylists in favour of personal text exchanges with the likes of Virgil Abloh, Haider Ackermann and Raf Simons. And while we’re very envious of his phonebook, we respect this level of commitment to every look.

Given his ever-growing career success, the 24-year-old regularly finds himself on global promotional tours where he attends seemingly endless red carpet premieres in any one week. Naturally, these tours require one heck of a wardrobe if he’s to keep his position at the top of the fashion world’s radar.

Bespoke suits made by the aforementioned legendary designers – Haider Ackermann in particular – are undoubtedly his red carpet go-to, with several floral Alexander McQueen looks on the Beautiful Boy tour securing his sartorial status.

Not one to let standards slip when the red carpet is rolled away, Timothée’s off-duty style sees Prada jackets, slogan sweatshirts and an impressive roster of shoes – including Alexander McQueen’s brand new Tread Slick boots – take centre stage.

Scroll down to see 22 of this young style icon’s most memorable looks which undoubtedly secured his position as fashion’s (and everyone’s!) favourite new muse…
