10 Broken Video Games Finally Ready To Play – WhatCulture

After years of anticipation, nothing is more satisfying than buying that game you’ve been waiting for. In some cases, however, the release of a game isn’t as much a celebration, but a funeral. That celebratory feeling of joy quickly turns into the sour face of disappointment as you’ll probably never touch the title again as it was only good for creating bad memories.

Nothing is worse than falling through the world, not being able to complete objectives due to a bug or server issues that can make a game unplayable. The barrage of bad reviews and complaints that follow can be best described as soul-crushing for the developers, but it also serves up an opportunity to fix these bugs, glitches, and in some cases, the entire game. If they continue to work on their title after release maybe one day they can turn it around and give their passion project a second life.

Today, it’s these devs who managed to fix the broken parts of their respective games that are in the spotlight. Everything from broken servers to a complete overhaul of the systems, there are many ways a game can be broken, but for these ten a rocky release paved the way to eventual glory.
