A release states that 1. FC Nürnberg will periodically host match days and training sessions at its new partner’s facilities. EMS will receive value from the partnership through brand presence on 1. FC Nürnberg jerseys as well as social media promotion, player promotion, and “Beat a Pro” events.

Namo Graff, Managing Director of EMS GmbH claims esports is in synchrony with the company’s ambitions: “EMS and eSports – it just fits. Therefore, we are very pleased about the new partnership and the opportunities that result.”

FC Nürnberg – which competes in the Virtual Bundesliga – debuted its EMS-branded jersey on November 14th coinciding with the league’s return.

Esports Insider says: This partnership comes just in time for the Virtual Bundesliga’s next season, hopefully allowing for a sea of content opportunities for the club. Taking something to a new level in esports is a bold statement but we’re open to being surprised.
